HARRY POTTER DAY!!!

Us Docembergirls are unashamed Potter fans. We grew up on the books and films and therefore it would just be wrong to celebrate fiction week without a Harry Potter day!

A very glamorous Hermionie, and a little soggy fleur delacour (with a butterbeer)

Here we are both enjoying our butterbeers in the freezing rain!

Thanks as ever for everyone's wonderful support http://www.justgiving.com/Do-cembergirls

Tomorrow is Disney!!!

Christmas elves

What better way to celebrate the freezing weather and festive period than a couple of elves!

Now while we were going for these particular elves to celebrate our fiction week and the launch of the Hobbit...

...I couldn't help but turn the Docember family into some real Christmas elves.

Enjoy!

In a Galaxy far, far away...

....Or not so far away, Two sisters came up with a crazy idea of how to raise money for a great charity.

This idea sent them on a wild journey to create numerous amounts of ridiculous hairstyles every day for a month.

The task has been a long and tiring one, and today they had to become great princesses of the towns of Matlock-shire and the great Kingdom Kennington to be able to keep raising money for the fantastic cause.

Join them throughout the rest of their journey, unknown places will be visited and it could be an exciting one!

May the Force be with you

The Naughty Noughties

Oddly I have found the noughties the hardest decade thus far. Compared to the other decades we have done they have seemed somewhat less creative and exciting. So after a lot of thought (and googling) I decided that there was only one thing for it - the craziest hairstylish lady of the moment - Gaga.

Susie embrace the coolest trend of the moment - emo styley. From my old lady understanding of emo, it is basically the anxty equivalent of me being 16 and yelling the lyrics of Alanis Morissette at the top of my voice in my bedroom - but with bigger hair and more eye liner. I could be wrong....

So now we say a fond farewell to the decades and move on to our next theme... fiction.

Tomorrow you are in for a treat!

Bye for now

90's Girls

So today we visited the 90's and having both grown up in the 90's we have gone for do's that represent things we loved from the decade!

With so many to chose from, whether it's Courtney love, Gwen Stefani or the Spice Girls, I wanted to represent one of my favourite 90's films, 10 Things I hate about You!!

Jo, whilst not being very well still managed to pull off a fabulous Patsy, Absolutely Fabulous Darling!!

Still cannot believe how much money we have raised thanks so much for all your support!

Happy Docember day 9!

We've got love for you if you were born in the 80's!!!

We heart the 80's!

I may have got a little carried away with the 80's today therefore one hairdo was never going to be enough.

Given that we are both 80's girls I couldn't possibly post without demonstrating just what kind of 80's kids we were.

Hoping some of you guys have joined us for the 80's today. Thanks for all your generosity - I can't believe how much we have made already! http://www.justgiving.com/Do-cembergirls

HAPPY DOCEMBER 80's day!
